There's a moment when you realize this isn't about willpower anymore - and that realization changes everything.

 

I spent years stuck in the loop of “starting over on Monday.” A new diet. A new plan. A new set of rules. I’d make it a few days—maybe a week or two—before everything fell apart, and every time it did, I internalized it as failure. I told myself I lacked discipline, that I couldn’t stick to anything, that something was wrong with me. Over time, that narrative made me afraid to even try again. It wasn’t until I began truly understanding the body—how it holds onto weight, how stress and restriction backfire, how biology responds to repeated dieting—that I realized this had very little to do with willpower and everything to do with how we’ve been taught to fight our bodies instead of work with them. Starting over every Monday wasn’t helping me heal—it was doing more harm than good.

What actually changed everything was compassion. Compassion for my body. Compassion for myself. When I stopped punishing and started supporting, things began to shift. I learned that sustainable change isn’t about trying harder—it’s about building systems that make it hard to fail, habits that fit real life and become second nature over time. That’s what brought me to this work, and why it means so much to me. Every time I sit with a woman who’s had a tough week or feels defeated by the scale, I recognize her—because I’ve been there. Healing isn’t linear, and progress doesn’t look perfect. But there is a better way—one rooted in understanding your body, not battling it. And what greater gift is there than giving our daughters—and the women who come after us—the understanding and support we were never taught?

Inside this work, you’ll receive physician-led, 1:1 support that goes far beyond a meal plan. Through personalized labs when appropriate, clear metabolic targets, nutrition and protein strategies, habit systems, and ongoing coaching, we uncover why your body has been resistant and how to support it sustainably. Many clients see improvements in blood sugar, cholesterol, blood pressure, inflammation, and energy—often reducing or avoiding medications along the way. Those wins are a byproduct of doing this right.

This isn’t about more discipline or shrinking your life to lose weight. It’s about understanding your body, building systems that support it, and freeing up the mental space dieting has taken for years—so you can feel well and actually enjoy your life again.
